A lot of us are experiencing that right now and over and above the stress of the exams, we are now being forced to write our exams and prepare for them in a way that is quite out of the ordinary. There are a few steps one can take to make sure that they prepare well for their exams even during a difficult time, so let us go through some of them together to help you ace your exams.
The first step to making sure that you are well prepared for your exams is planning ahead. This requires you to look into the future a bit. I suggest starting with a timetable because planning how your days will look already gives you a sense of direction and control. Yes, things might change there and then, in that case you still have something to look back at to make sure that you are on track.
While you are busy with your planning, make sure that you add some “ME TIME” to your plans. Taking care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally should be a priority of your plans and even if your plans do change, make sure that you keep that “me time” as part of your plans. During this time, you can do anything that makes you feel at ease, and simply allows your being to take a break. This can be a workout, meditation, painting, relaxing outside, reading etc.
I am pretty sure that you have heard of the saying “practice makes perfect” and I am here to tell you that it is not a lie. Practicing for your exam allows you to get used to the formats in which your exams may be conducted and allows you to test yourself to make sure that you know your work. Practice using past papers, recent tests you have done, questions in your study guides, textbooks etc. Do corrections and locate the work you struggle with.
